The selling resume is a sales document that is tailored for a specific business and one that a job seeker would want to display in the first page of his resume.I recently had to write one of these documents. I found myself in a self-conscious moment as I sat down to create my resume. I have been writing them since I was about seventeen years old, and it has always been a nightmare for me to do so. I had a sinking feeling in my stomach as I sat down to actually write the very first one!I did a lot of research online to find out more about selling resume writing. When I decided that it was time to start this resume writing project, I made a list of several questions I wanted answered. What went through my mind at this point?There are many different types of writing a sales document and that was the hardest thing for me to figure out. For example, how do you make a sales pitch to a potential employer in a paragraph?All I needed to know was that I wanted a sales document to stand out from all the others. The more sales oriented, the document is, the more that my resume will be looked at. My selling resume is designed to bring new business and this is what I was going for with my marketing resume.When I had finished writing this selling resume, I knew that I had come up with something unique. I am sure I was surprised at the attention my new document received when I emailed it to all of my friends. My selling resume is one of the best selling resumes that I have ever written.
